We need a loan in the amount of $150,000 to save our home and to pay off some outstanding debt. We have bad credit and I want to pay everything off and start fresh... Our home is in forclosure. My special needs child was in the hospital for 9 weeks and we just keep getting farther and farther behind. Please if someone knows where I can get help, let me know. Thanks Alot!

I am 32 yrs old married to my high school sweetheart for 11 yrs. Together we have a 14 yr old and a 7yr old. We were young parents and during our time with trying to make ends meet with jobs that do not pay much and child care we have not been able to save the money needed to fix credit to get a home loan. My credit is not terrible but it needs improvement but when you are paying almost 1000.00 in rent and life with children saving is not something that is easily done. We don't have savings we are starting to get out of living check to check but really want to purchase a home! There are so many programs to help but none when taking a chance to finace someone that needs a home. I have always wanted to own my own home and it is a shame that 10yrs ago when I was 22 didn't have a stable job I could have gotten finaced for 0% down but now that I have a good job that I have worked for 5 years I can't get approved for anything. I have a judgement on my credit that I can't afford to pay so I will most likely never be able to have the american dream. Thank you Struggling to purchase a home in Tn.

We never missed a mortgage payment even one time until last year when my husband and I were laid off , money that was in savings kept us afloat for awhile, then it got to the point that we were overcome by the bills. My husband just started back to work, but our house is already in foreclosure . I was trying to flow this feed to see where to go to get help. We owe 150,000 on the house. To get out of foreclosure we need 15,000$ I got lost in all the topics, with nine children all 16and under there is no where to go, and rents are more expensive than our once mortgage payment. Please let me know if you know where to turn...

Is there a place that helps with bills. I had to move from a job that made 12.21/hr to another area to help assist my roomates parents who are dying. She also has bad health issues, remission from cancer, brittle bones and diabetes. She has a son who is legally blind (age 20) and I have a son with special needs. Since she cannot work she helps take care of her parents, her child and my 18 yo son (who is not able to be on his own yet, mentally). I finally found a job (11$/hr) 45 minutes away from her sisters house which we had to take over payments. If you know of anyone who could help with a one time assistance with a $300 electric bill and $440 house payment, that would be so gracious. I was two months behind on our vehicle payment and I paid that bill so I can keep working. I am working so hard to support everyone, I feel drained and defeated needing to ask for help. We need to keep the lights on and a roof over our heads. I asked my bank for a small loan but my credit is not worthy enough because of all my son's hospital bills I have outstanding on credit cards..

It's sad I recently lost my job and am currently penniless because of having to pay my bills ahead of time since the checks for now have stopped, but i have no money, no income and no food and have to wait another 7 days or so till I can get my food stamps.  The food donation places won't help me because i'm not a woman, my ex has my son, and I'm not over 60.  So now what do I do?  Why did I have to help pay part of my taxes to these places that will never help me.  I have eaten 3 pieces of toast in three days because no one wants to help a single man that is just trying to get back on his feet.  I'm seriously considering going down to the store and stealing the food, but then where does that put me?  In jail,  3 hot meals and a bed.  Doesn't sound anywhere near as my life right now.  Maybe our government needs to think about what is causing people to go out and steal to survive.  I shouldn't be waiting for food stamps for 2 weeks nor have to deal with not being able to get help from all of these places that say they help the needy.  Why is it that I don't need to eat and a woman does?

That is because there are homes available at a low cost. A family can own a home with as little as 1000.00 and usually at the higher range, no more than 4000.00 for a completely paid for home. I have the resources to locate the homes, but the funding for those homes is a problem. I have added my own money in, to get started.

These home are available nation wide, and i do know there are many people right now, that are needing homes.

You can start by making you up some business cards. Post them in places that people normally frequent. Set you prices low enough to cover all your expenses, by leaving you a profit, and people will start to call on you. When you meet people in public, offer them your business card.

You may also want to run an ad in your local paper.

I certainly feel for you. I have just posted a request for donations for the aid of people needing homes. So far, i have started off the funding with my own cash, and am waiting for others to add to it, so that people can own their own homes, with no payments.

I do not have the funds available right now, but with the amount of cash that you need, i could provide many homes for many people. I certainly do hope that someone will answer your request.

I'm sure most of the people on here are well aware of how or why they are in the situation they are in.  They are facing reality every day, and if having faith or believing in a higher power helps them get through rough times then so be it.  I do believe in God, and I still believe there are people in a position that can make a difference.  Not everyone deserves what they get.  God helps everyone, especially the ones who don't believe.  There is a difference between tough love and cynicism.  Instead of being grateful for getting out of your own situation and offering suggestions or words of encouragement you belittle them.  Mocking people and being cruel to them doesn't make you a cold hearted bastard, and it doesn't make you a realist, it just makes you pathetic.

Since you have a record, it's easier to start working for yourself. Go register with your city as a handyman service. Then place low cost or free ads advertising your painting services. You can make flyers to put up all over town, look around and see where others are putting theirs up; such as the supermarket, senior centers, lamp posts, neighborhood bulletin boards, etc. Go online and get some samples, Vistaprint is a good place to start. Let your company grow slowly, you never know. But in this day in age, its better to start over on your own.

No, I dont think you are a bastard, just an ass that is 6 months behind me in maturing.  I like you may have written a post similar to you 6 months ago-before my education.  I unlike you have learned that "control in a fictional state of being"-you are never fully in control of anything (including; health, job, opportunity, relationship or anything else).  I was living the life 6 months ago, at the top of my profession, new cars, new house , designer clothes, sky was the limit-we had it all. It all came to a complete end when I lost my job for reporting my boss, the owner of 2 billion dollar business, for sexual harassment of 4 female employees.  Of course I am sueing him but we all know how that works-in the mean time I cant find a job because of the financial debacle in this country.  I will soon lose everything, once I have burned through savings, 401k and called in all my markers.  Tell me infinately wise one, how is this my fault and what is pathitic about me.  Shit happens and it happens to everyone, except you-truth be known you are probably one of the smug jerks that think sub-prime lending is the borrowers fault.  I have never know a person except for our current Senators, Governers and Congressmen, that could underwrite there own mortgage.  Thats the equivilant of blaming someone hocked on prescription meds of blaming them-they didnt write the prescription.  If you cant contribute to the forum in a positive way, why not just be humane.  Grow up man, for someone who has so much going for him why are you prowling on the net looking for people in trouble to shit on.

There are programs like Hope out there to help.  The Legal Aid program in your area may be of help.  The last thing is to file Chapter 13 and your income is what is used to decide on your payments.  It will stop the foreclosure.

hello brinly, no I did not get the help I needed but I doubt if I qualify for aloan of any kind, if I did I would have never resorted to begging on aidpage but just in case I am writing. if you can do anything to help me, I would appreciate it.

                                                                                                                           Thank you

What's pathetic is someone actually searching for a specific topic just to degrade the people posting to it.  God can and will help anyone, despite their faults, and you do not have official certification of qualification to judge from God. When you are a parent you do whatever it takes, including begging, for the sake of your children.

I'm just a high school student, but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people out there who can loan you the money. I would help, if I can and I hope your child is doing okay =]

And also, moving to a small state might aid financial debts; their gas prices are still $4 ;D

You ALL are pathetic.  God is NOT going to help you.  You got yourselves into this mess and you deserve what's happening to you.  To the lady with all of the children:  PLEASE start using birth control and place your children into foster care - they do NOT deserve to pay for your continued mistakes.  There is not any FREE help on the internet.  There are only scam artists that are our there to screw you over.

Mr. missionary in India:  Look around you.  What do you see?  Ask yourself "why are these people this way?"  The answer is "because they CHOSE to be."  ANYONE will take free help from some unwitting jerk that believes in some mythical diety. . . do you fit that description?  WAKE UP!!!  You're being used and you are stupid enough to believe you're making a difference.  RIGHT . . .!

How stupid must you ALL be to be here begging for help???  You got yourselves into this mess, GET YOURSELVES OUT OF IT.  The very BEST thing that can happen to you is for you to hit rock bottom.  I did, and I grew up and saw what I must do to survive.

This is what is called "tough love."  This is what will REALLY help you.  If you have a brain and THINK about it, you'll know I'm absolutely correct.  I'm guessing, however, that you will all believe I'm a cold hearted bastard.

        Girdey,

I recommend, if you have not already done so, contact your mortgagelender and see if you can negotiate your mortgage, ask them what they can help you. I can not see them not wanting to aid in the cause as this is very bad time in Real Estate and for them to assume another property only to try to sell is in my perspective quite counter productive. Try calling your creditors and see if they will work with you on payments or in some cases they might even write the debt off.

Right now, as I see it, without all of the information regarding your circumstances, the house is the most important item to tackle.

Next your special needs child, there are organizations out there that can either advise, assist you with some of your stresses.

Best wishes, remember contact your creditors and work with them.

        Regards,

        Dr. William D. Moore

You may want to try contacting HUD in your area they often have creative financing and grants to help you with the housing forclosure. the other thing I would suggest is to speak to a broker about a possible " wrap around loan" were they can give you some creative finiancing and debt solutions.

hang in there and good luck
